Please pray for Jeremy Maucione. Jeremy has been re-diagnosed with cancer. He is a valued member of the Colorado State Knights of Columbus. Please pray for him and his family while he fights this horrible disease. Lord, look upon Jeremy with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon me, may Your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing and restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
Please pray for Nancy Sorenson, mother of State Treasurer Mark Sorenson. Nancy had a bad fall and is currently in the hospital. O God who are the only source of health and healing, the Spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant to Nancy such a consciousness of Your indwelling and surrounding presence that I may permit You to give me health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Brother Tim Sharpe. Council 11730. Keep his family and the Special Olympics Colorado family in your prayers. Tim was a Co-Chair of the SOCO Board of Directors and Athlete. He was a dedicated and talented leader on and off the field. The funeral will be held Oct 5th at 10am at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Colorado Springs. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. McManus Jameson Hand passed away at his Northglenn, Colorado home accidentally on July 14, 2024, at the age of 31. The son of Manus and Angela Hand, Jameson was born in Denver on April 1st, 1993, a beloved brother to his sister, and was baptized into the faith of his fathers in Laramie, Wyoming. He was raised in Parker. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
